This clinical reference book presents an advanced discussion and application of neuropsychological practice and impact by discussing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. This book is written for clinical professionals to increase diagnostic accuracy and intervention successfulness, more specifically, a way to approach psychopathologies as disorders of the neurological system.

This book also features the various forms of psychopathology and focuses on the neuropathlogical and pathophysiological basis of the various symptoms discussed with emphasis being placed on the biological basis of each disorder. The text goes beyond the emotional and behavioral aspects of each disorder and views the broader impacts of the symptoms. This approach emphasizes the importance of looking at the other functional impacts of these manifestations (e.g. cognitive deficits secondary to depression).
